I've never been a huge Doors fan, their recent foray into Skrillex music doesn't help my memories but I must say that there were moments captured by this band that are just other worldly. I'll never forget my Dad blasting this song when I was maybe 7 or 8 while we were flying down the highway in a rain storm and him just being so into the song yelling at me "this is the way this was meant to be heard!!" as went faster and faster.

Anyway, this albums is like... if I had to call it something, no wave, disco and I think you all will really enjoy it.

Lawrence was Lawrence and only Lawrence, he made wonderful music with other musicians, you should check it out. I'm including their first two albums in the post because I feel like if you don't know them you should start with the beginning, also both albums are on the short side, apparently Lawrence only wanted even numbered albums. Personally I'm a bigger fan of the second release just because I think it sounds a bit more confident and polished.
