"Lissvik of Piccadilly Swedish Balearic favourites Studio and Lindson o f Embassy have joined forces as The Crêpes and created "What Else?", a wonderful album of summery guitar-based pop songs. The album was completed in eight days, which in some lesser songwriters / musicians hands would have resulted in half-baked ideas and poor execution, but with Lissvik and Lindson at the healm comes across as simple and spontaneous. There's a C86 / Pastels-style gentleness about the music here, while Balearic heads need look no further than the beautiful acoustic cut "Cas-sette" for their fix.
