Broken Bells
Here's another one that just leaked, it doesn't come out until 3/9/10, wow it feels strange writing 10 in the date. This one too I haven't had a chance to listen to but the single The High Road is a really great track that makes me super excited to give this the proverbial spin. Its starts out with these great bleeps that sound like they are coming from some broken or warped gaming system that never existed and then breaks into a nice relaxing steady groove for the first verse. After that there comes in this beautifully chilled out hook that I can't get enough of right now and just continues on that blissful relaxing tip for the rest of the track, wonderful.
edit: so it turns out the album for me doesn't really hold up to the single, the last song is really good but the rest while not bad just doesn't live up to what I had expected in my headspace. Oh well, still definitely worth a listen.
